Most sellers assume that all agents are going to do the exact same things to sell their home. They will put it in the MLS, stick a sign in the yard, and just wait for it to sell. So they just shop around for the best “deal”.

This perception creates a negative impression of our profession. And that negative view opens the door for new technologies and companies to come in and try to take market share.

If we want to be successful in today’s market, we need to fight for relevancy. We need to demonstrate our value to sellers.

How do we do this? By changing how we sell real estate. We need to take an aggressive, proactive approach to selling real estate that utilizes the latest online marketing techniques.
